Genesis
Jazer was founded in September 2023 by Dr. James H. Zothantluanga, with the valued support of Dr. Hannah S. Lalnunpuii. Originally rooted in a digital community built through James’s educational and socially driven content on his YouTube channel Jaz Hmar, Jazer has since grown into a broader online platform dedicated to learning, research, and community impact. At its core, Jazer is committed to delivering meaningful knowledge while cultivating a mindset that challenges convention, inspires originality, and empowers individuals to think boldly and differently.
The name Jazer itself traces back to Jaz, derived from his YouTube identity, where he fondly referred to his supporters as “Jazers.” What began as a close-knit and loyal community of followers who connected with his content, values, and vision has now evolved into the identity of a growing brand. Today, Jazer stands as a tribute to that original community, honoring its roots while expanding into a purposeful platform centered on education, creativity, and meaningful engagement.
